This program is designed for adult learners aged 18 and over from any country, conducted with English as the support language.

Since English is used as a support language in lessons, students need to be comfortable communicating in English at an intermediate level or higher.

Meet Júlia
I've always known I was born to teach.
At 18, I started teaching English to Brazilians. I was accepted into two of Brazil's most competitive public universities, UFRJ and UERJ, where I studied Portuguese and Latin, then moved into Portuguese and English.
I also spent years studying Medical Radiology. But no matter where life took me, I always came back to teaching. It's not what I do. It's who I am.
Today I'm completing my Teaching Degree at UERJ, engaged to a Dutch man, and I built Parlare Portuguese for English speakers who want to speak Brazilian Portuguese, naturally and confidently.

No. Beginners are completely welcome. Lessons at this level are supported with English when needed, and the pace is adjusted so you feel comfortable from the very first lesson.
Lessons are conducted in Portuguese as much as possible, with English used as a support language when needed. Since students come from all Portuguese levels, including complete beginners, the balance between Portuguese and English adjusts naturally to where you are. The goal is always to use more Portuguese as you progress.
All levels of Portuguese are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Lessons are fully adapted to where you are. The one requirement is that students are international adults aged 18 or over, with English at an intermediate level or above, since English is used as a support language during lessons.
Each lesson is a personalized conversation session. There is no fixed script or rigid curriculum. Sessions include guided speaking, real-life topics, natural corrections and feedback tailored to your specific needs.
Yes. You receive corrections naturally during each lesson, and a monthly written progress report via email with specific improvement points and direction for the following month.
Rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours notice. Lessons missed without advance notice cannot be rescheduled.
For single lessons, cancellations made at least 1 business day in advance are fully refunded.
After joining the program, you will select a fixed weekly time based on current availability. Available slots are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during morning hours (Brazil time).
Only a small number of students are accepted at a time. This is intentional. The program is fully personalized and each student receives complete individual attention.
Yes. Independent study between lessons is an important part of the program. The more you engage with the language outside of lessons, the faster you will progress.
